Thank you to everyone who commented on this post sharing what you’d like to see on the site! As we wait for the arrival of Baby Sussex and the end of Meghan’s maternity leave, we won’t be seeing her as much and therefore I won’t have many new outfits to share from her over the next few months. I do still have plenty of old looks to share (both pre- and post- royalty!), but I’d like to spread those out with other content as well. A few of you requested more outfits from Kate, which I’m definitely happy to accommodate! I’ll likely start doing two of Kate’s looks a week since we have such a big backlog of her outfits.
There were also some requests for her beauty favorites, which I’ve actually already featured here! I’ll be sure to dedicate a few more posts to that soon though. I also received some requests to share looks I think Meghan should/could wear, so I may start doing a few collages featuring some of my favorite royal-inclined looks from around the web! As always, if you have any specific requests, comment on one of these blog posts or shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
Now for today’s look! This outfit has been one of my very favorites Meghan has worn, mostly because the color choice was such a surprise and step outside the box for her! I, like Meghan, wear neutrals more often than not, but occasionally like to brighten things up with a pop of happy hues. This shade of yellow looks absolutely stunning on her, don’t you think?
This beautiful yellow sheath dress is by Brandon Maxwell, a designer she’s now worn three times since becoming a royal! It’s a classic and flattering silhouette for her small frame, but the color is what really makes this piece stand out. I would’ve enjoyed seeing what bag she would have chosen to wear with this piece, but I think nude pumps were the right choice to let this dress do the talking.
The event Markle attended with Prince Harry was the ‘Your Commonwealth” Youth Challenge Reception. The newlyweds spoke with the youth in attendance following a short speech from the Duke of Sussex. See more pictures from the event and shop similar yellow dresses below to recreate her look!
