Meghan Markle wears White Theia Gown and Princess Diana's Aquamarine Ring in Tonga

Meghan Markle stepped out in a somewhat bridal white gown, custom made by Theia for a special dinner with the king and queen of Tonga. According to news outlets, the dress had to be remade… which gave the designer an early clue that the Duchess of Sussex was with child! While the dress was made for Meghan in white, the design was based on this navy Athena gown the label did last year.

When she wore the gown last week it was not available, but now it is!!! You can pre-order it here. It’s expected to ship by the end of February, so it would be perfect for any rehearsal dinner or wedding sometime next year! A great option for galas and fancier events (that aren’t weddings) too! The silk crepe fabric is a style you can wear year-round, so it would be a versatile evening add to your wardrobe. The cap sleeves are sophisticated and simple, while the jeweled neckline adds some subtle sparkle to capture the eye.

She paired the white Theia column gown with her favorite satin Givenchy clutch and Aquazzura Deneuve pumps in black (back in stock!!!!). The Duchess of Sussex added a tiny pop of color to her look, thanks to the incredible aquamarine cocktail ring she wore. Previously owned by Princess Diana, Meghan wore the same ring to the evening reception on the day of her and Prince Harry’s royal wedding back on May 19th.

  • I had a hard time finding a super similar white gown for less than the asking price on the website for the real thing ($995), but I did find this, this, this, and this. See more white gowns in the carousel below!
  • This dress is the opposite of a steal. In fact it’s eight times more than the Theia gown! But isn’t it pretty?!?!? It definitely has similar vibes.
  • Her exact shoes are back in stock here, but to get her shoe look for less, don’t miss this pair and this pair!
