On Meghan’s first joint engagement with Prince Harry in the new year, she made a splash in two very bright hues! Possibly drawing inspiration from two of Princess Diana’s looks featuring the same color combo, Markle opted for a bright red wrap coat, purple midi dress and matching red suede pumps. This look was very unexpected and I absolutely love the change of pace from all the neutrals she’s been sporting lately… and that’s coming from someone who LOVES neutrals!
The coat is by Santaler, and she actually wore the exact same style last year in this outfit. You can still shop the camel version of this coat here! Unfortunately the red option is not available, but I did manage to find a number of similar red coat styles for you to recreate the look. The purple midi dress is a budget-friendly find from Aritzia, but already sold out, I’m afraid. There are two other dress styles by Aritzia in this vivid purple shade, which you can shop here and here.
Her matching red suede pumps are by Stuart Weitzman and her luxe brown leather bag is by Gabriela Hearst. If you remember, she wore the same bag style in deep green leather here just a few months ago. You can’t purchase Gabriela Hearst bags online, but you can put your name on the list for one here – they will contact you to set up the order! Or if you happen to be in New York, stop by the store on Madison Avenue and you can purchase one there.
