In addition to featuring Meghan’s outfits, I’ve received a number of requests to share more of the new royal’s favorite beauty, skincare and hair products! Just in case you missed it, I featured some of her holy grail makeup items here back in November and got such great feedback from it! Glad you guys enjoyed it 🙂

Let’s take a moment to talk about one of Meghan’s absolute travel essentials. Even before she met the red-headed royal, Markle was already what most would call a world traveler. She once worked as an intern for the US Embassy in Argentina, has visited Malta, Rwanda, a handful of countries in Europe, and quite a few other far-reaching locations prior to dating Prince Harry. As an actress, she also spent a lot of time flying around for various events, interviews, shooting Suits in Canada, etc. Needless to say, she’s probably got a good travel routine down!

As previously disclosed to Allure Magazine, Meghan swears by just one very simple item to keep her skin calm while traveling: tea tree oil. Markle stated: “The one thing that I cannot live without when I’m traveling is a small container of tea tree oil. It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all”. Sounds pretty great to me!

Upon further research into this magical little substance, I discovered tea tree oil acts as an antiseptic and can help keep germs at bay. It’s a great spot treatment for blemishes, disinfectant for bug bites and cuts, and keep it on-hand on flights. Apparently when you apply a small amount around your nostrils it can help keep germs from entering your sinuses! Genius. I found this small bottle on Amazon for under $8 – perfect for fitting in your purse or carry-on!

I’ll be going to the British Virgin Island’s in February, which will be the perfect time to test Meghan’s must-have out. If you’ve used it, would love to hear your thoughts!! Comment below with your experience using tea tree oil!

Love tea tree oil! Natural allergy medicine and itchy scalp treatment. If you have a diffuser it’s also great for focus.

Melaleuca, The Wellness Company, sells a disk of semi-solid tea tree oil that is amazing. Same great properties as the oil but so much more convenient. It’s easy to carry in your purse (no possibility of leaking) and easier to apply (stays in place). I never go far from home without mine. It also comes in a tube.
